• iFlix is optimized for use by people with an always-on internet connection. To download flix using your BitTorrent client, you really need a hi speed cable modem or DSL connection to the internet. iFlix will run without an internet connection to display your collection, but many features will not be available.
  
  
• Although not required to use iFlix to catalog your flix, in order to download flix from the internet, you need a BitTorrent client.
  
  We highly recommend Azureus as it is much more system-friendly, and you can setup Azureus to automatically start downloading flix via torrrents that iFlix has downloaded for you. Please see the documentation for more details.

Mac Users

• OS X 10.2.8+ (may run on 10.2.6+), 10.3.2+ recommended
• Java 1.4.1+
• Simply run Software Update from System Preferences to get these components

Windows Users

• Windows XP Home+ recommended, but iFlix should run on 98, ME, 2000, etc.
• A current (1.4+) Java Installed

*Nix (Unix, Linux, etc.) Users

• We do not yet have a Linux machine running, but will sometime in the near future. iFlix should run on any machine with a current (1.4+) Java Installed
