ArticleID: 10110 Title: What Ports Does iFlix Use? 04.06.03 - As of v1.50+, iFlix should only be using port 80 to i-flix.com and jqkserv.net. This should help anyone who had trouble with the mysql port 3360, and will allow future expansion of i-flix using additional RSS/XML feeds as they become available. iFlix uses the standard web browser port (80) to i-flix.com for the news feed, live update and other HTML, and port 3360 to communicate with our server (jqkserv.net) to retrieve your [internet] flix. Normally, you don't have to explicitly open port 3360 because most firewalls/routers allow outbound connections on any port. Depending on your firewall/router, you may need to allow outbound connections on port 3360 for iFlix to work correctly. Return to the Knowledge Base Index Close this window |
