Title: Multiple Instance Support

You can now run multiple instances of iFlix on the same computer - 1 to hold your files, and a 2nd to handle [internet] flix. Here's how:

Quit iFlix.

Move or rename your currently active iFlix User Data folder to something like iFlix User Data Files.

Start iFlix, and when prompted, located your moved iflix.properties in the above folder.

Go to the advanced menu and choose Enable/Disable Multiple Instance Support... ENABLE it.

Quit iFlix.

In the Finder (or explorer), duplicate your iFlix application folder, and name the copy iFlix1.

Inside that folder, rename the iFlix application to iFlix1.

Add iFlix and iFlix1 to your dock, or make shortcuts to them.

When you launch the first instance (iFlix), iFlix will use your default database.

When you launch the second instance (iFlix1), iFlix will use a new database and preferences.

CAUTION: iFlix tracks the number of instances you have running, and offers to use new preferences and a new database when the 2nd (or more) instances are started. You can't lock an instance to a specific database. The first instance will use the default, the 2nd your 2nd set of preferences, and so on.

You will also have to use the Enter Registration command to copy/paste your registration ID into each instance.

Please Use CAUTION with this feature so you do not lose any valuable data.

VERY IMPORTANT

You must have iFlix (1st instance) running using your first database before launching iFlix1, otherwise iFlix1 will use your first database/prefs.
